Abstract
INTRODUCTION Diffusion theory calculations of mudcake effect on the porosity determination of the compensated neutron log (dual-detector thermal neutron porosity log) have been made, with comparisons to Monte Carlo calculations and experiment. The main purpose of the calculations was to determine the corrections for unusual mudcake conditions.
