Abstract
The deconvolution process is basic to the improvement of the thin bed response of induction logging tools. Recently it has been shown that the in-phase vertical PGF" response functions of the induction tool are determined by the overall formation conductivity distribution and vary nonlinearly with the position (depth) of the tool in the borehole.
