Abstract

Introduction Logging while drilling (LWD) and logging after drilling (LAD) dual resistivity data, in combination with openhole wireline data, acquired in the same wells, have been analyzed with a view towards: – understanding and interpreting differences between the three logging methods and establishing a consistency between the various resistivity measurements made at different logging times, and to: – estimate the radius of invasion at various logging times to better understand and quantify the invasion process.
