Abstract

Introduction The advent of the carbon/oxygen (C/O) logging technique permitted the measurement of saturation through casing or in open hole in case of unknown and/or variable water salinity. The large diameter (3 5/8 in.) of the equipment commonly used for C/O logging made it impossible to pass through most completions.
