Abstract

INTRODUCTION The objective of this paper is to outline a series of working procedures and systems for the use of digital well log data and other, digitized data in exploration. Exploration is defined here as the development of proximity criteria equations that may indicate the horizontal distance to hydro- carbons or possible hydrocarbon traps.
