Abstract

INTRODUCTION Horner Plots of the pressure build ups from well-programmed Drill Stem Tests are a valuable source of reservoir inform ation. Their use in deriving static fluid pressures and other reservoir parameters is generally established A drill stem test (DST) is a temporary completion of a well for two purposes: – to obtain samples of the fluids in a specific reservoir; – to determine by pressure anal- ysis some characteristics of the reservoir.
