Abstract

Acquisition, processing, and present- ation of borehole data by use of digital techniques is today’s state of the art in well logging. Consequently, much greater use can be made of and value placed on the information which today’s well logging measurements are able to produce. A sub- set of this group of information are those answers which, at the wellsite, will aid the log analyst in the recognition and evaluation of hydrocarbon-bearing rocks.
