Abstract
Stratigraphic and reservoir analysis of the Lower Cretaceous Bluesky-Gething For- mation of northwestern Alberta has been considerably enhanced by the use of compu- ter shaly-sand log analysis techniques, as compared to the more conventional analysis by gamma-ray and S.P. curves. The compu- terized method provided a degree of thin shale and silt bed recognition that has resulted in a regional stratigraphic framework interpretation of high confi- dence.
