Abstract

Pethods for the prediction of the response of density, acoustic velocity and neutron logs to mixtures of gases, liquids and solids, have been compiled in this paper. The methods are based on knowledge of the elastic constants, chemical make- up, and other physical properties of the material; these data are available from various handbooks or other sources.
