sands are often much too high. Combined manual and computer analysis of the logs on CanHunter Elmworth 11-15-70- 11 (W.6) yielded the following results: 1. The sonic log, corrected for gas trapp- ed in the pores close to the borehole wall, appears to be the most reliable log for the determination of porosity.
